The Village of Woodridge currently has 5 different incentive solutions to prevent backflow into home basements as well as eliminating stormwater (inflow) and groundwater (infiltration). Here is a brief list of each program.

Stop backflow into home basements with an Overhead Sewer

The Village will reimburse 50% of the installation cost, up to a maximum of $3,000 of an overhead sewer system. Total project cost estimate $6,000-$10,000.

Stop backflow into home basements with a check valve or gate valve

The Village will reimburse 50% of the installation cost, up to a maximum of $1,000 for a check valve or gate valve to be installed within the home. Total project cost estimate $1,000-$2,000.

Stop backflow into home basements and eliminate inflow and infiltration with a check valve

The Village will reimburse 50% of the installation cost, up to a maximum of $1,500 for a service line clean-out install near the foundation. Total project cost estimate $2,500-$3,500.

Eliminate inflow and infiltration with a sump pump installation

The Village will reimburse 50% of the installation cost, up to a maximum of $3,000, for the removal of the foundation drain and installation of a sump pit. Total project cost estimate $3,000-$6,000.
